On this fascinating two-day trip, you will embark on a unique journey that will begin by exploring the cultural and natural riches of La Guajira. On the first day, you will witness artisanal skill at Las Salinas de Manaure, where local communities extract salt in a traditional way. Then, you will immerse yourself in the authenticity of the Wayúu culture in Uribia, known as the "Cuna de la Guajira". The day will culminate in the iconic Cabo de la Vela, where the magical encounter between the desert and the Caribbean Sea will envelop you in a unique experience. On the second day, your adventure will head to Mayapo, a coastal paradise that will welcome you with its golden sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Municipality of Uribia:
Uribia is the municipality with the largest indigenous population in Colombia. It is located north of the department of La Guajira. Its population is part of the Wayúu people, who have inhabited this territory since time immemorial and are recognized as collective owners of the great indigenous reservation of the Alta y Medio Guajira, which extends throughout the rural area throughout the peninsula.
Manaure Salt Flats:
Wayuú tradition and modernization. The largest salt and sodium chloride exploitation in Colombia is located in Manaure, La Guajira. Its capacity is one million tons per year, corresponding to 70% of the country's total salt exploitation capacity.
Sail cape:
Located on the La Guajira peninsula, it is a desert territory inhabited by the Wayùu indigenous people.
