This incredible trek is located in the city of Medellin, in the municipality of Venecia, called Cerro Tusa, a dormant volcano that emerged millions of years ago along with Cerro Bravo. It is also considered a "the highest natural pyramid in the world" and is an icon of trekking in Antioquia, with an ascent of approximately 600 meters.
Its shape at the top and the myths that surround it make it a magical destination for lovers of adventure and challenges; because it is a unique mountain in the world for its striking pyramidal shape and its adventures narrated by the natives of the region. It takes this name thanks to the Zenufaná Indians who considered it similar to what is left of the corn after shelling.
Cerro Tusa was declared as the most important archaeological park in the Antioquia region thanks to the discoveries and sites of cultural importance that are found there, so we invite you to this spectacular experience that is also rated level 5, on a scale of 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest difficulty.
This tour called "Cerro Tusa" will be done through hiking or trekking, where the meeting point is the station exhibitors, you will have breakfast on the road and arrive at Venecia (municipality of Antioquia), you can buy everything you want in this place and visit the altar of sacrifice.
Likewise, you will start the ascent at 10 in the morning and you will reach the summit at approximately 1 in the afternoon.
